once upon a time…
… there was a small, brave, and slightly stupid girl named Lauren. She loved to help others, so after graduating from college, she did what every under-diagnosed, neurospicy bleeding heart did…
She became a social worker.
She was passionate and tough, but also a sensitive cinnamon roll, and that field ended up being too much on her empathic and anxious heart.
She thought a boring banking gig would be the answer, but it turns out soul-sucking jobs aren’t her thing either.
ONE DAY…
…her arrogant and condescending boss (clearly trying to mask his own fragile ego) said some rude shit to Lauren that made her cry, and tossed a box of tissues at her. She was stunned that a grown ass man could be so heartless in her moment of vulnerability.
That was the final straw for Lauren, who is a sensitive little bitch.
She realized she had to escape the matrix of corporate America, where toxic workplaces thrive because, hey, as long as the money's flowing, who cares if people are miserable, feel dead inside and stuck in a never-ending cycle of existential dread?
So, like any fed-up millennial trapped in a soul-sucking job, Lauren spent her lunch break plotting her escape by googling how to start a dog-walking biz.
A few days later, riding a wave of reckless optimism, she handed in her 2 weeks notice. Armed with nothing but relief, determination, and a hefty dose of “WTF DID I JUST DO?!”, Presidential Pet Care was born.

When the pandemic hit, Lauren switched gears and jumped into the B2B world. She discovered she was way more of a business nerd than she ever knew — and pretty darn good at it too.
